Steffen Sten Visits Tonwerk
After four years, our long-standing partner Steffen Sten visited Tonwerk again. The visit focused on personal exchange and a tour of our outdoor exhibition.
Our guests were Michael Steffen (CEO) and Henrik Hjorth (Key Account & Sustainability Manager). Representing Tonwerk were our Managing Director Olaf Mayer, Head of Façade Sales Bujar Bajrami and Customer Account Manager Kerstin Solarino.
During the visit, Bujar Bajrami guided our guests through the outdoor exhibition, where various façade solutions and design options using ceramic products were presented. The programme also included a tour of our production facility.
Focus on TWIN tiles
Tonwerk and Steffen Sten have been working together for many years. One focus of this cooperation is ceramic TWIN tiles. Together, the companies have implemented a range of facade projects.
Twin tiles offer architects and planners various options for façade design. Their characteristic shape allows for different facade patterns and can be combined with a range of colours and laying patterns.
Projects Realized Together
Over the course of the cooperation between Tonwerk and Steffen Sten, a range of reference projects featuring ceramic TWIN tiles has been completed. The projects demonstrate different applications and design options for the facade system.
TWIN tiles are often used in shades of brown and red. Depending on the colour, laying pattern and architectural concept, they can create different facade designs, ranging from understated to distinctive.
The projects completed together with Steffen Sten include residential buildings, public buildings and commercial properties. They demonstrate the design possibilities of TWIN tiles and their use in different architectural contexts.
