TWIN TILES
TONWERK TWIN tiles is a ceramic facade system made of double-layered shingle elements for modern building envelopes. The system translates traditional shingle aesthetics into a contemporary, precise facade solution with a calm and uniform appearance.
The TWIN tiles are manufactured using an extrusion process and fired at high temperatures, resulting in robust, dimensionally stable ceramic elements with consistent quality and high durability.
TONWERK TWIN tiles are available in the following format:
Size of one TWIN tile: (2 x 110) x 240 x 13 mm
The ceramic elements are mechanically fixed to a rear-ventilated substructure (e.g. with special screws). This ensures a secure, durable, and precise facade solution.
The ceramic surface is highly resistant, UV-stable, and easy to maintain. Due to its low water absorption, it creates a long-lasting facade envelope with minimal maintenance requirements.
This product has a hail resistance class of HW 4 according to VKF classification in the hail register of the Swiss Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers.
