TONWERK TAGSTEN is an extruded ceramic facade panel system for modern building envelopes. The system consists of U-shaped elements that create a precise, calm, and homogeneous facade appearance.
The facade panels are manufactured using an extrusion process and fired at high temperatures. This results in robust, dimensionally stable ceramic elements with consistent quality and high durability.
TAGSTEN is available in two formats:
- 500 × 240 × 30/25 mm
- 400 × 240 × 30/25 mm
The U-shaped ceramic elements are mechanically fixed to a rear-ventilated substructure (e.g. nailed or screwed). This ensures a secure, durable, and precise facade solution.
The ceramic surface is highly resistant, UV-stable, and easy to maintain. Due to its low water absorption, it creates a long-lasting facade envelope with minimal maintenance requirements.
This product has a hail resistance class of HW 4 according to VKF classification in the hail register of the Swiss Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers.
